Day-by-day itinerary
Arrive Port Blair · Cellular Jail light and sound show — Our driver meets you at Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) airport and takes you to your hotel, about 15 minutes away, where a welcome drink is served. After some rest, visit Corbyn's Cove beach, then the Cellular Jail museum in the afternoon (closed on Mondays and national holidays). Stay on for the included evening light and sound show about the freedom struggle.
Cruise ferry to Havelock · Radhanagar Beach sunset — After an early breakfast, transfer to Haddo jetty for the private cruise ferry to Havelock (Swaraj Dweep), about 1.5–2.5 hours. Our representative meets you at the jetty and takes you to your beach resort. In the afternoon, drive about 12 km to Radhanagar Beach for a walk on the sand and the sunset. Swim only in the flagged area watched by lifeguards.
Elephant Beach · snorkelling and glass-bottom boat — After breakfast, take a boat from Havelock jetty to Elephant Beach, about 20–30 minutes each way. Snorkelling gear and a glass-bottom boat ride over the coral are included; non-swimmers can snorkel in shallow water with a life jacket. Free day on Havelock · optional try-dive or candlelight dinner — A free day to enjoy the resort and the beach. Optional at extra cost: a beginner scuba try-dive with a certified dive centre (no swimming needed; usually 2–3 hours including training, minimum age 10), a walk on quiet Kalapathar Beach, or a candlelight dinner on the beach arranged by the resort. Tell us which options you want when booking so we can reserve dive slots and the dinner table.
Ferry to Neil Island · Natural Bridge and Laxmanpur sunset — After breakfast and check-out, take the ferry to Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep), about 1 hour. Neil is small, with most places within 5 km. Visit Bharatpur Beach, where shallow coral shows at low tide, and the Natural Bridge rock formation at Laxmanpur Beach 2 (best at low tide; wear shoes with grip). End the day with the sunset at Laxmanpur Beach 1.
Sitapur sunrise · ferry to Port Blair · evening at leisure — Watch the sunrise at Sitapur Beach if you are up early. After breakfast, take the ferry back to Port Blair, about 1–1.5 hours, and check in. The afternoon is free. Visa & entry
No visa or permit needed for Indian citizens visiting Port Blair, Havelock and Neil. Carry an original government photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, driving licence or voter ID) for both of you; it is checked at the airport, at every ferry and at hotels.
Good to know
Ferry timings are fixed a day or two in advance and can change with the weather; the day plans follow the ferry you are booked on.
After a scuba dive, do not fly for at least 18–24 hours. That is why the optional dive is on Day 4, well before your flight home.
Mobile data and ATMs are limited on Havelock and Neil. Carry enough cash; UPI works in most places but the network can be slow.
Do not touch or stand on coral, and do not take shells or coral home; it is illegal. Use reef-safe sunscreen if you can.
Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and Ross Island boats usually do not run on Wednesdays.
Mid-May to September is monsoon: heavy rain and rough seas, and boat trips may be cancelled at short notice.
Questions travellers ask
Is the candlelight dinner included?
No, it is optional and paid separately. Most Havelock resorts arrange one on the beach or by the pool; tell us when booking and we will reserve it for the evening you prefer.
Can we try scuba diving if we cannot swim?
Yes. A beginner try-dive is done with an instructor holding you throughout, and swimming is not required. You fill in a short medical form; people with heart problems, asthma, recent surgery or pregnancy should not dive. It is optional and paid separately.
Is the beach resort on the beach?
We book a resort on or close to the beach on Havelock, in the category stated in your quote. Please tell us if beach access is a must, as beachfront rooms cost more.
Does the price include flights?
No. The package starts and ends at Port Blair airport. There are direct flights from Hyderabad and Chennai; we can book flights from Vijayawada or Hyderabad separately and send you a combined quote.
What is the best time for an Andaman honeymoon?
October to May, when the sea is calm and the water is clear. December and January are the busiest, so book ferries and resorts early.
