Arrive Langkawi · Pantai Cenang sunset — There are no direct flights from India, so most travellers fly via Kuala Lumpur, from where Langkawi is a 1-hour domestic flight. Our representative meets you at Langkawi International Airport and drives you to your hotel near Pantai Cenang, about 15 minutes. Check-in is usually from 3:00 pm. Free day · Optional mangrove tour — The day is free, with no tour booked. Options at extra cost: a Kilim Geoforest Park mangrove boat tour of about 3–4 hours, with limestone cliffs, a bat cave and eagle watching; a jet-ski island tour; or an evening sunset cruise with dinner. Or simply spend the day at the beach, the hotel pool, or Pantai Tengah, the quieter beach just south of Cenang.
Departure from Langkawi — Breakfast and check-out, usually by 12:00 noon. Transfer to Langkawi International Airport, about 15 minutes, for your flight to Kuala Lumpur and onward home. Allow at least 3 hours between flights in Kuala Lumpur, and check whether your connection is at KLIA Terminal 1 or KLIA2.

Visa & entry
No visa is needed at present. Malaysia allows Indian passport holders visa-free visits of up to 30 days, under an exemption that runs until 31 December 2026. Fill in the free Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) online within 3 days before arrival in Malaysia (usually at Kuala Lumpur, your first airport). Carry a passport valid for at least 6 months, your return ticket and hotel booking; immigration may ask for proof of funds. For travel from January 2027, check Malaysia's rules with us at booking.
Good to know
Langkawi is warm all year (about 24–33°C). Use reef-safe sunscreen and carry water shoes for the rocky lake path on the island-hopping trip.
Langkawi is a duty-free island, so chocolates, cookware, perfume and alcohol are cheaper. Low-cost domestic fares may include only a cabin bag; tell us your baggage needs before we book.
Pantai Cenang has several Indian restaurants with vegetarian food. Tell us at booking if you need Jain meals.
Cover shoulders and knees in Kuah town and at the mosque areas. Beachwear is fine on the beach.
The currency is the ringgit (MYR). Carry cash for boat operators, small shops and night markets. Grab taxis work on the island.
Questions travellers ask
Is the cable car included?
Yes. The SkyCab cable car is part of the Day 3 tour. The separate Sky Bridge walkway ticket is extra. If the SkyCab is closed for weather or maintenance, we offer an alternative.
Are flights included?
No. You fly to Langkawi via Kuala Lumpur; both the international and domestic flights are quoted separately, and we can book them together.
Is the island-hopping trip safe for children and seniors?
Yes, in normal weather. Life jackets are provided. The walk to the lake has steps and an uneven path, so seniors should take it slowly.
Do Indians need a visa?
Not at present. Indian tourists can stay visa-free for up to 30 days until 31 December 2026. Fill in the free Malaysia Digital Arrival Card online before you fly.
Will we get vegetarian food?
Yes. Hotel breakfasts have vegetarian options, and Pantai Cenang has Indian restaurants serving vegetarian meals.
