A 6-day couples' holiday based at a beach hotel in the Grand Baie area in the north of Mauritius, with breakfast and dinner every day. Three sightseeing days cover Port Louis and the Pamplemousses garden, a boat trip to Ile aux Cerfs, and the south of the island with Grand Bassin, the Black River Gorges and Chamarel. The fifth day is kept free for the beach, a catamaran cruise or a spa.

Arrive Mauritius · transfer to Grand Baie — Our representative meets you at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam (SSR) International Airport after immigration and customs. The drive north to your hotel in the Grand Baie area takes about 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. Standard check-in is usually from 2:00 pm; early check-in depends on availability. Spend the rest of the day on the beach or walking around Grand Baie. Dinner is at the hotel.
North tour · Pamplemousses garden and Port Louis — After breakfast, a half-day to day-long north tour with a driver-guide. Start at the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden (about 25 minutes away), known for its giant water lilies, spice trees and old palms; allow about 1.5 hours. Free day · beach, catamaran or spa — A free day to spend together at your own pace. Most couples stay on the beach or by the pool. Popular optional extras, booked through us or the hotel at extra cost, include a full-day catamaran cruise from Grand Baie to the northern islets with a barbecue lunch, a short submarine dive off Trou aux Biches, an undersea walk, a sunset cruise or a couples' spa treatment. Dinner is at the hotel.
Departure from Mauritius — Breakfast and check-out, usually by 11:00 am or 12:00 noon; late check-out is on request and chargeable. Transfer to SSR International Airport (about 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes), reaching about 3 hours before your international flight.

Visa & entry
Indian passport holders do not need a visa in advance for a holiday in Mauritius. A free entry permit is given on arrival by immigration, and the length of stay allowed is well beyond this trip. Carry a passport valid for your whole stay (we recommend at least 6 months), your confirmed return ticket, your hotel booking and proof of funds, as the officer may ask for them. Before your flight, fill in the free All-in-One Travel Digital Form at safemauritius.govmu.org and keep the QR code ready on arrival.
Good to know
Since 1 October 2025, hotels collect a tourist fee of €3 per person per night from guests aged 12 and above.
Mauritius has a large Indian-origin community, including a long-established Telugu community. Vegetarian food, Indian restaurants and Hindu temples are easy to find.
Wear modest clothing at Grand Bassin and remove footwear at the shrines. Swimwear is for the beach and pool only.
The local currency is the Mauritian rupee (MUR); Indian rupees are not accepted. Cards work in hotels and malls; carry some cash, or USD/EUR to exchange, for markets and tips.
Pack beach shoes for coral and reef-safe sunscreen, and swim only where there are no red flags. Lagoons are calmest in the morning.
Vehicles drive on the left. Sightseeing days involve 2–3 hours of driving in total, with stops.

Do Indians need a visa for Mauritius?
No advance visa is needed. You get a free entry permit on arrival if you have a valid passport, a return ticket, a hotel booking and enough funds. Fill in the All-in-One Travel Digital Form online before you fly.
Is vegetarian food available?
Yes. Most hotels serve Indian vegetarian dishes at breakfast and dinner, and Mauritius has many Indian restaurants. Tell us your preferences and we will inform the hotel.
Which meals are included?
Breakfast and dinner every day at the hotel. Lunches are on your own, usually during the sightseeing days.
Are flights included?
No. The price covers the land package. We can quote flights from Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru or Mumbai separately, with and without the package.
Is the catamaran cruise included?
No, it is an optional extra on the free day, along with the submarine, undersea walk and spa. We can book any of them in advance.
