Arrive Delhi · Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate — Our driver meets you at Delhi airport or railway station and takes you to the hotel, where you get a welcome drink (standard check-in is around 12–2 pm). Delhi to Agra · Taj Mahal and Agra Fort — After breakfast, drive about 230 km to Agra on the Yamuna Expressway (3.5–4 hours). With a local guide, visit the Taj Mahal and then Agra Fort, which looks across the river to the Taj. Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri — After breakfast, drive about 40 km (1 hour) to Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar's abandoned capital, and see Buland Darwaza, the Jama Masjid courtyard and the palace complex. Continue about 200 km to Jaipur (4–4.5 hours), with a stop for lunch on the way at your own cost. Arrive in Jaipur by late afternoon or early evening and check in. Jaipur · Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal — Start early after breakfast and drive about 11 km to Amber Fort, stopping to photograph Jal Mahal on the way. Jaipur to Delhi · Departure — After breakfast, check out and drive about 280 km back to Delhi on NH48 (5–6 hours, depending on traffic near Gurugram). We drop you at Delhi airport or railway station. Please book your return flight or train for after 6 pm so the drive is not rushed.

Good to know
The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday. We plan the Agra day around this, so please tell us your travel dates early.
Taj Mahal security does not allow food, tobacco, tripods or large bags inside. Carry only a phone, wallet and a water bottle.
October–February is the best time; December–January mornings in Delhi and Agra can be foggy and cold, so carry a jacket. April–June temperatures often cross 40°C.
Three of the five days include drives of 4–6 hours. Our drivers stop for tea, meals and rest breaks, which helps senior citizens.
South Indian vegetarian restaurants are easy to find in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Tell us if you need Jain or no-onion-garlic food.
Remove footwear at the Jama Masjid in Fatehpur Sikri and dress modestly (shoulders and knees covered) at religious sites.
Questions travellers ask
Is the Taj Mahal open every day?
No. It is closed every Friday. If your Agra day falls on a Friday, we see Agra Fort and the Mehtab Bagh viewpoint that day and visit the Taj Mahal early the next morning before driving to Jaipur.
Can we take an elephant ride at Amber Fort?
This package includes a jeep ride up to the fort. Elephant rides are limited to a few morning hours, face restrictions and criticism over animal welfare, and are not included. We do not recommend them, but we can tell you the current status if you ask.
Can we get a Telugu-speaking guide?
Local guides in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur speak English and Hindi as standard. Telugu-speaking guides are rare; tell us at booking and we will check availability.
Is this tour suitable for senior citizens?
Yes. The pace is comfortable and the vehicle is private. There is some walking at the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Amber Fort, and the jeep at Amber Fort avoids the steep climb. Wheelchairs are available at the Taj Mahal.
Can we start from Vijayawada or Hyderabad?
Yes. Flights or trains to Delhi are not included in the package price, but we can book them for you and send a quote with and without flights.
