A 7-day private tour of Rajasthan's three royal cities, staying two nights each in heritage palace or haveli hotels in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur. Arrive Jaipur · Check in to your heritage hotel — Our driver meets you at Jaipur airport or railway station and takes you to your heritage hotel, where you get a welcome drink (standard check-in is around 12–2 pm). Spend the afternoon enjoying the hotel's courtyards and gardens. In the evening, visit Birla Mandir, then return for dinner at the hotel.
Jaipur · Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal — After breakfast, drive about 11 km to Amber Fort with your local guide, stopping for photos at Jal Mahal. Go up to the fort by jeep (paid locally) or on foot, and see the Sheesh Mahal and the palace courtyards. In the afternoon, visit the City Palace, where the royal family still lives in one wing, and the Jantar Mantar observatory, then stop at Hawa Mahal. Late afternoon is free for Johari…
Jaipur to Jodhpur · Evening at the clock tower — After breakfast, drive about 340 km to Jodhpur (5.5–6 hours), with a lunch stop on the way at your own cost. Check in to your heritage hotel and rest. In the evening, walk around the clock tower and Sardar Market, or have tea on a rooftop with a view of Mehrangarh Fort lit up at night.
Jodhpur · Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan Palace museum — After breakfast, visit Mehrangarh Fort with your local guide: the palaces, the armoury and the views over the blue city. Walk down to Jaswant Thada, the white marble royal memorial. In the afternoon, visit the museum wing of Umaid Bhawan Palace, which shows the royal family's clocks, cars and photographs; the rest of the palace is a hotel and the family's home. The evening is free at your hotel.
Jodhpur to Udaipur via Ranakpur Jain temple — After breakfast, drive about 170 km (3.5–4 hours) to Ranakpur. The marble Jain temple, with its 1,444 carved pillars, opens to non-Jain visitors from about 12 noon to 5 pm; leather items and food are not allowed inside. Have lunch nearby at your own cost, then continue about 95 km through the Aravalli hills to Udaipur (2.5 hours) and check in by early evening.
Udaipur · City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Lake Pichola boat ride — After breakfast, visit the City Palace complex above Lake Pichola with your local guide, then the Jagdish Temple nearby. In the afternoon, see Saheliyon ki Bari and drive along Fateh Sagar Lake. Before sunset, take a boat ride on Lake Pichola past Jag Mandir and the Lake Palace, which is a hotel and open only to its resident guests (boat tickets paid locally). Dinner at your hotel.
Departure from Udaipur — Enjoy a slow breakfast at your hotel, then check out. Our driver drops you at Udaipur airport (about 22 km, 40 minutes) or the railway station.

Good to know
The Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur, Umaid Bhawan Palace hotel in Jodhpur and Rambagh Palace in Jaipur are very high-end hotels and are not part of this package price. We can quote them as upgrades if you wish.
Heritage hotels are old buildings: rooms differ in size and shape, and some have steps and no lift. Tell us about any mobility needs so we can request suitable rooms.
The Ranakpur temple opens to non-Jain visitors from about 12 noon. Shorts, sleeveless tops, leather belts and bags, and food are not allowed inside.
October–March is the best time. December–January nights can drop to 5–8°C, so carry a jacket. April–June temperatures often cross 42°C.
Pure vegetarian food is easy to find, and hotel kitchens can make Jain or less spicy food if you ask in advance.
Questions travellers ask
Do we stay at the Lake Palace or Umaid Bhawan Palace?
No. These are among India's most expensive hotels and are not covered by this price. You stay in heritage palace or haveli hotels, visit the Umaid Bhawan museum and see the Lake Palace from a Lake Pichola boat. We can quote upgrades on request.
Which meals are included?
Breakfast and dinner every day at the hotels. Lunch is on your own, so you can try local restaurants on the way.
Is this tour suitable for senior citizens?
Yes. Each hotel is for two nights, the vehicle is private and the drives are 5–6 hours at most. Forts have slopes and steps; Mehrangarh has a lift for part of the climb, and Amber Fort can be reached by jeep.
Is it good for an anniversary or honeymoon?
Yes. Heritage hotels can arrange a special dinner or room decoration at extra cost. Tell us your dates when booking.
Does the price include flights?
No. The tour starts in Jaipur and ends in Udaipur. We can book flights from Vijayawada or Hyderabad and quote with and without flights.
