Day 1: Arrival in Kochi
On your arrival at Kochi, you will be greeted by a representative of your tour operator who will transfer you to your hotel. After freshening up, you can spend the day exploring the city. You can visit the Chinese fishing nets, the Jewish Synagogue, the Dutch Palace, and the Fort Kochi beach. In the evening, you can watch a Kathakali performance, a traditional dance form of Kerala.
Day 2: Kochi to Munnar
On day 2, after breakfast, you will be driven to Munnar, a hill station in Kerala. The drive to Munnar is around 4-5 hours. On the way, you can visit the Cheeyappara waterfalls and the Valara waterfalls. On arrival in Munnar, you can check-in to your hotel and relax.
Day 3: Munnar Sightseeing
On day 3, after breakfast, you can explore the tea estates, the Eravikulam National Park, and the Mattupetty Dam. You can also visit the Tea Museum and learn about the history of tea in Munnar. In the evening, you can return to your hotel and relax.
Day 4: Munnar to Alleppey
On day 4, after breakfast, you will be driven to Alleppey, the backwater destination in Kerala. The drive to Alleppey is around 4-5 hours. On arrival in Alleppey, you can check-in to your houseboat and enjoy the backwater cruise. You can also explore the nearby villages and enjoy the local cuisine.
Day 5: Departure from Alleppey
On day 5, after breakfast, you can check-out from your houseboat and head back to Kochi for your departure. On the way, you can visit the Kumarakom bird sanctuary and the Vembanad Lake. You can also do some last-minute shopping in Kochi before heading to the airport.
